California notice of collection and consent
For California residents, under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. This sits alongside the privacy policy, which applies to everyone.

We do not sell or share your personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising — as those terms are defined by the CCPA. There is no opt-out to make, because there is nothing to opt out of. We run no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics; see the cookie policy.
Sensitive personal information
We collect taxpayer identification details only from creators receiving payouts, and only because tax reporting requires it. It is used for that purpose alone and never for inference about you.
How long we keep it
Account and contact details are kept while your account is open. Financial records — donations, allocations, payouts, receipts — are retained for seven years to satisfy nonprofit accounting and IRS requirements, even after an account is closed.
Your rights
- Know what we have collected about you, and get a copy.
- Delete it, except records we must keep for tax and accounting.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information.
- Non-discrimination — exercising any of these never affects how your donations or projects are treated.
Making a request
Mail support@mywork.rocks from the address on your account, or write to the address on the contact page. We confirm within 10 business days and respond within 45. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission.
