Accessibility statement
Work that belongs to everyone has to be reachable by everyone. We build to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Where we fall short, we would rather say so here than pretend otherwise.
What is in place
- Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
- Colour is never the only carrier of meaning; funding states and statuses carry text labels too.
- Text meets AA contrast in both the light and dark themes.
- Animation respects
prefers-reduced-motion. - Forms use real labels, and errors are announced, not just coloured red.
- Pages are structured with landmarks and a single, ordered heading outline.
Known gaps
- Some long data tables in the admin console scroll horizontally without a summarised alternative view.
- Uploaded project cover art depends on creators supplying alternative text; where none is given the image is marked decorative.
- Deliverable files themselves — PDFs, video, audio — are supplied by creators and are not yet checked for captions or tagged structure.
Assistive technology we test with
VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, NVDA on Windows, and keyboard-only navigation in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.
Tell us about a barrier
Mail support@mywork.rocks with the page and what blocked you. We answer within two business days and will give you a workaround while the fix is in progress. If the problem stops you completing a donation, say so — those go to the front of the queue.
Formal complaints
If our response does not resolve it, write to the mailing address on the contact page marked for the accessibility lead.
