A 501(c)(3) nonprofit · Civic crowdfunding for the public domain

Pay creators in full.
Release the work forever.

Donors fund a wallet via Stripe and allocate from it to specific works — novels, music, film, research, photography. When a project funds, the creator is paid in full and the completed work enters the public domain under CC0. Tax-deductible. 0% creator fee.

01

Tax-deductible giving

Wallet contributions are made to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Receipts are issued automatically for each contribution and an annual summary at year-end.

02

0% fee to creators

A 5% fee on wallet contributions covers operating costs. Creators receive 100% of the funded amount with no platform deduction.

03

Public domain forever

Funded works are released under CC0 — reprintable, adaptable, taught, translated, remixed. Permanent author credit; no further license required.

  1. 01

    Fund your wallet

Top up via Stripe. Receive a tax-deductible receipt immediately. The 5% operations fee is deducted at the wallet step; allocations themselves are fee-free.

    Choose a work

Browse projects by genre, funding state, or deadline. Read the deliverables manifest and the rights statement before allocating.

  3. 03

    Allocate any amount

Move dollars from your wallet to a specific project. If the project doesn't fund, your allocation returns to your wallet automatically.

  4. 04

    The work is released

On funding, the creator is paid in full and the completed work enters the public domain. Distributed openly. Permanent author credit.
